The LinkedIn Offer Pyramid

Turning Attention into Income

A few years ago, I had a client who was crushing it on LinkedIn.

  • Thousands of likes and comments.

  • Endless DMs saying “love your content.”

On the surface, they looked like a LinkedIn success story.

But when I asked: “How much revenue is LinkedIn driving for you?”

They paused. Then said:

“Honestly? Not much. I’m spending all this time posting, and it feels like a second job that isn’t paying me.”

That’s when it hit me.

We don’t live in the information economy anymore. We live in the attention economy.
And in this economy, attention is abundant — but monetization is rare.

Most creators stop at attention. Very few build a system to turn that attention into income.

That system is what I call the LinkedIn Offer Pyramid.

The Pyramid Explained

At its core, the pyramid is a roadmap: it shows how strangers who notice you on LinkedIn can become long-term partners and patrons.

Let’s break it down.

1. The Base: Minimum Viable Offer (One-Off Offers)

This is your foundation. It’s low-friction and low-risk for the buyer.

Examples:

  • A 90-minute LinkedIn strategy session.

  • A live workshop.

  • A digital product under $100.

The goal here isn’t massive revenue — it’s trust. It’s showing someone you can deliver, so they’re open to the next step.

2. The Climb: Recurring Offers (Tiers 1–4)

Once trust is established, the pyramid shifts into recurring offers — the engine of a sustainable business.

  • Tier 1 Recurring → Group programs, communities, or masterminds.

  • Tier 2 Recurring → Mid-level coaching or consulting retainers.

  • Tier 3 Recurring → High-ticket packages with deeper involvement.

  • Tier 4 Recurring → Strategic advisory or high-touch retainers.

Each tier is about scaling intimacy and value: the further a client climbs, the more they invest, and the more transformation you deliver.

3. The Peak: Patrons

At the very top are your patrons — clients or companies who don’t just hire you, they want you in their world long-term.

This could mean:

  • Becoming a trusted advisor to their executive team.

  • Partnering on long-term initiatives.

  • Revenue-sharing or joint ventures.

This is the ultimate goal — not more clients, but deeper client relationships.

Why Most Creators Stay Stuck

Here’s the problem: most people on LinkedIn are stuck at the bottom of the pyramid.
They’re chasing likes and hoping someone magically slides into their DMs with a big contract.

But likes don’t pay your bills. And virality isn’t a strategy.

What matters is having an ecosystem of offers that matches the attention you’re already generating.

Content → builds visibility.
The pyramid → converts visibility into predictable income.

How to Use the Pyramid

Here’s the practical application:

  1. Audit your pyramid. Do you even have an entry-level offer? Do you have a clear path for clients to ascend?

  2. Design a “ladder of trust.” Each tier should logically lead to the next. If someone loves your workshop, what’s the next step?

  3. Map content to offers. Every post should either:

    • Spark curiosity for your entry-level offer, OR

    • Reinforce authority for a higher-tier offer.

Final Word

The attention economy rewards creators who get noticed. But the offer economy rewards those who know how to monetize.

Your LinkedIn strategy shouldn’t just be about visibility. It should be about building a pyramid that quietly and predictably converts attention into income.

So here’s your challenge for the week:

👉 Map your own LinkedIn Offer Pyramid.
Start at the base and build it upward.

Because the goal isn’t just to grow an audience.
It’s to build a business.
